Edison Park Turkey Trot
November 22, 2007
Burn off some of those holiday calories this Thanksgiving at the 5K Fun Run/Walk through beautiful Edison Park. All skill levels welcome, including a Gobble Gallop for the kids. Proceeds benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Sauganash Wellness Center team will be offering mini-massages for participants.

Lincolnwood Turkey Trot

We're delighted to join the fun again this year offering mini-massages for participants at the 31st Annual Lincolnwood Turkey Trot race. The event consists of a 5K / 10K run, a 5K fitness walk and a Drumstick Dash for children ages 10 and under. Sponsored by the Village's Parks and Recreation Department, the Trot is a great way to get out and get active.

Minkler, Shaffer Attend Posture/Rehab Clinics in NYC

Dr. Deanna Minkler and Rachel Shaffer learned new techniques to add to their rehabilitation skill set. Sessions by BodyZone in New York they attended this fall covered topics such as posture assessment, therapy and rehab exercises. Ask about the PostureBall on your next visit.

The Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce and Industry will honor Sauganash Wellness Center as a 2007 Corporate Citizen of the Year at the annual "Salute to Business" gala in November. Run to Remember 5K Walk/Run

This 5K USATF-certified, 5K non-competitive walk and junior jog on Chicago's beautiful lakefront benefits the Chicago Police Memorial Fund. The race will begin at Gold Star Families Memorial and Park, just east of Soldier Field. Complimentary mini massages provided for participants by Sauganash Wellness Center.

ABC 7 Chicago visited Liz Coye-Monte to learn more about how she helps Chicago Bears players stay primed for the big game. Reporter Ravi Baichwal talks with Liz and running back Thomas Jones.

Visit Liz at Bears Training Camp
July 27 through August 16, 2006
Liz will be at the Bears Training Camp this summer. Come down and visit! For the fifth straight summer, the Bears will hold training camp at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, located only 60 miles south of Chicago. The gates to training camp open one hour prior to the start of all-day practice sessions and two hours prior to the start of all-night practice sessions. Admission is free to the public for all training camp practice sessions listed on their web site with the exception of ONU Appreciation Night on August 4th (night practice only).

Dr. Deanna Minkler Completes Advanced Training in Graston Technique
June 2006
Dr. Deanna Minkler of Sauganash Wellness Center in Chicago recently completed Module 2 of Graston Technique®. The two-module program includes lecture and laboratory applications of the Technique in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sort-tissue injuries of the upper and lower extremities, as well as the spine. The Technique provides patients with a new option in the treatment of musculoskeletal complaints.

Chicago Police Department Memorial Foundation: 5K Run to Remember

Sauganash Wellness Center provides complimentary massages for runners for this special fundraiser along Chicago's lakefront. Proceeds go to help the families of Chicago police officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives in the line of duty.
